The Catwalk Recreation Area is positioned within the mountains of western New Mexico, close to the tiny city of Glenwood. The hike goes by way of a field canyon with hanging steel walkways that comply with an outdated mining pipeline, dubbed “The Catwalk”. The accessible catwalks are 1.1 mile spherical journey. The path continues into the canyon for a 2.2 mile spherical journey hike.
